Islamabad (A Correspondent): Government is planning to present federal budget in the second week of June. Budget will be presented on the national tv while suggestions and approval from the parliamentarians will be taken online.
Sources privy to the matter said federal budget is likely to be presented between June 5 and June 12. He said all budget documents will be uploaded on the ministry of finance’s website. Dr Hafeez Sheikh or Asad Umar will present budget 2020-21 on tv.
Government is also looking at other legal options for presenting the budget since Assembly’s budget session is likely impossible due to COVID-19 outbreak.
