iPhone’s New Feature: Open and Start Your Car, If you Have BMW 5 Series

Monitoring Desk: Apple company at it’s annual World Wide Developer Conference announced that apple phones will have a new feature from 2021 to start unlock and start your car. Initially, this app will work on BMW-5 series.

Senior manager of car experience engineering at Apple, Emily Schubert, demonstrated how a driver can tap the door handle with their iPhone to unlock the sedan and push the ignition button after placing iPhone on the car’s charging pad .

CNN Business Reported “BMW owners will also be able to share the virtual car key with friends through iMessage.” Volvo offers a similar service of car key sharing through smartphones
